FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
STAN DUKEMAN
Dukeman's passion for woodworking was sparked by his industrial arts teacher Jonathan Hart in Tuscola, Illinois.
While studying electrical engineering in college, he missed the opportunity for hands-on creativity and sought experience working with Amish cabinetmakers to hone his craft.
He moved to Jacksonville in 1989 where he joined a cabinetry firm and began building high-end commercial cabinetry and architectural elements for clients including Disney, Opryland, Dean Witter Reynolds, Alabama state capitol, Georgia Pacific, and finance and insurance companies.
Stan founded Dukeman Custom Woodworking in 1998 because he wanted to be the best woodworker and make it his lifetime profession. He began collaborating with designers and builders to create custom entertainment centers. Clients were so pleased with his work that they requested cabinetry for kitchens, baths, and libraries.
As word spread among the design and building community, in addition to positive wordof mouth from his satisfied homeowners, he grew the business to include cabinetry and other wood elements for entire homes.
Today Stan and his team of artisans are the region’s premiere resource for high-quality custom cabinetry and furnishings for builders, designers, homeowners, and executives. He treats every project as if it were designed for his own home and office with a devotion to customer service from conception through design, construction, and installation.
Stan believes that to create beautiful cabinetry, you need to pay attention to details and be a good listener to your valued customers.

- PHILIP DesignerDCW is proud to have Philip, who lived in Gainesville for 33 years before moving to Jacksonville in 2007.
He has worked with Dukeman Custom Woodworking since 2012 exclusively as its Lead Designer after starting in the building stage of custom woodworking.
Philip has been employed with top woodworkers but found a home designing some of the exquisite woodworking that DCW achieves throughout the entire "home-scaping" process.
Mr. Bernstein is there in every stage of production, from measuring to finishing the installation. Philip’s favorite thing about this job is seeing his designs crafted with the extra exceptional care and attention to detail that Stan and his crew deliver.
He loves that DCW products are made with only the finest materials and skillfully built, installed, and finished to be absolutely worth the anticipation of designs that are highly appreciated by clients.
Stan not only gained a top-quality designer but an artist as well since Philip is a Fine Art and Architecture major from the University of Miami.
He has many talents in drawing, illustrating, and painting in addition to 14 years of high-end woodworking experience that he still explores with personal projects during his spare time.KIMBERLY DesignerKim received an A.S. Degree in Interior Design in 2018 and began working with the DCW team in January 2019 as a Custom Designer. Before working with Stan, she worked for a local credit union and finished her time as its Accounting Manager.
Kim remembers going to model homes with her mother as a child and trying to figure out how their furniture worked in the small space, and later in high school, she was introduced to upholstery and interior design. Her dream of working in the field came true in 2018 while interning for a kitchen and bath designer and earning her degree in Interior Design from FSCJ.
After her internship, Stan hired her as a designer for DCW and now she delves into some of the wonderful designs of customers, designers, and builders that Stan and his crew built DCW’s exceptional reputation as a leader in custom woodworking.
Born in Miami, Kim lived in FL, IL, NJ, and VA before settling in Middleburg in 1989. She loves her job of creating custom cabinetry and furniture, helping clients realize dreams for their unique spaces, and working with every minute detail and ensuring everything fits perfectly. She is grateful and honored that her true passion, The Act of Creating, is fulfilled daily. - KENNETH Lead BuilderKenneth started work at DCW just a few months after moving from NYC to Jacksonville and is the oldest employee besides Stan, employed in July 2005.
